Dubstep can be hit and miss for me. There have been times where a set has had me dancing my ass off and rocking out, and other times it's gotten little more then a sway side-to-side from me.
On a proper sound system though, Dubstep can be surprisingly fun to dance to. And at the events I've gone to where the dubstep room has 'gone off' - it's been one of the most lively/energetic dancefloors I've been on in awhile.

To me Dubstep breaks into two distinct categories - the Datsik, Excision, Nero, et al make that all sound like a variation of the same tune; aaand everything else. I can't believe I'm getting elitist over a tiny genre like Dubstep already, but I'm disappointed every time I hear people fawning over the latest annoying buzzing synth because of how "filthy" it is.

well dubstep IS essentially a minimal/stripped down version of drum and bass
and those dubstep dinos are awesome !

That is soo true im all over the deeper stuff that has a little wobble added, most "filthy" tnes get tired quick as with a song that has subtle hints of dort can soound fresh every tie you hear it.
btw THat Breakage tune is prolly my favorite ytune for the last year anf the flip of th e record is 'together' another brilliant track from Breakage.
