Ok i have to apologize as this is prob the third headphone post in a couple of months but im pretty keen on heading out this weekend to get some as i desparatellly need a some.

due to living with ladys parents etc etc, I am wanting a pair for production, and preferably ones that are comfortable for long periods of time..

I was thinking something along the lines of AKG but open to options, and for price up to 200-250aus if needed.

thanks again guys..:tongue2

akg, sennheiser, audiotehnica. i think opened ones are better for producing.

skullcandy
Fledz
AKG K240S mk2.

In your price range, one of the best for home use and comes highly recommended by the majority of people here.

skullcandy: i dont know whether or not to take you seriously,

And,

sennheiser, audiotehnica: never heard much about these either, but going to take some beats into the music store and test some out with my music

Maybe HD600s?

I don't think it's in your price range but I can vouch for the AKG K701's, anything I produce with those seems to hold up fairly well on anything else I play my tracks through.

that was my main concern, their ability to translate well over other monitors/speakers and then in the end just creating more work for me
