Yes, but federal law takes precedent over state law, so if state law contradicts federal law, then federal law is the only thing that matters. Like medical marijuana is legal in California but that doesn't stop the DEA from raiding dispensaries and arresting cancer patients for growing marijuana. |

I'm assuming it does both... my grandfather was sent to the same place after he had a stroke for rehabilitation. I know it as a "rehab center", but it's probably more inclusive than that. |

It blows my mind that just a couple days ago they said he had 3 months to live, and he died today. I am ok... I am just worried about my mom and wish I could be there for her. It sucks because she is going to be spending all weekend dealing with the funeral arrangements and it's her birthday on Sunday. :( |
