Well, the official trailer has been released, and although categorically a reboot, it at least isn't yet another retelling of the same story that was more competently told in the original version...though from this trailer, it largely looks and feels the same.
I'm having something of a hard time accepting Adrienne Brody as the lead role of an action film.

Actually looks like it could be a rad summer flick. Adrian Brody was excellent in King Kong and The Jacket. I dunno if those can be considered the same kind of "bruce willis jerry bruckheimer hurrrr action flicks" as he could be realized in (to that extent, I would agree he would be out of place) but Predators are awesome. Also like seeing Fishburne's and Rodriguez's names on this. Will look forward to mindless violence.

This movie looks terrible.
So they got the original which was half-decent and slightly original, then made 2-3 really terrible sequels that where so bad you couldn't give them away... so they've gone back to what's half decent and slightly original, to remake it as probably crap and unoriginal.
