His music is fun and it is innovative. He's been making this kind of bassy music since 2001. No one's done it before, and no one can recreate his sound. It's one thing to say you don't like his music, thats fine.. but don't deny him of his talent and creativity.

I like many things.
And from what I can gather (and I've had the pleasure of listening to most of his discography, actually), he really does take already familiar genres and uses definitive elements (no, not really remixing anything, they are original productions) and adds fartbass and honkeyfunk to it. It's not really all that innovative. It's akin to schranz.
I'm not saying it's not well-produced, it is. But it's not as deep as he's presenting it. It's bosh club that's skin deep and pretty stupid. Stupid music's fun though, and fun is good.

I don't understand your argument. Every artist in EDM has elements of some other form of style in their music. It's simply the progression of music. Are you saying he's blatantly sampling? Or do you just hate wobble bass for the fact that it's wobble bass, and wobble bass is for hipster kids?

You already told me you think it's very well produced, which it is.. so don't tell me my musical tastes are dumb. I've leanred to respect people for their musical taste, and understand that just because someone likes Lady Gaga doesn't mean they are ing idiots.
My buddys dad has been listening to rock, jazz and blues music since the 60s, he has thousands of records and CDs and used to own a record store. To him, trance is 'dumb'. It's repetitive mindless bull with no soul, and he knows more about music then I'll ever know. Does that make him right? No.
