That's all. You're buying a license to a song from an artist, granting you, the purchaser, the right to unlimited playback
and bla bla bla bla bla all that legal bull that was conjured by some lawyer who couldn't give half a of 2 s about Hybrid's latest album Disappear Here(You can check out the new video for the single Break my Soul on their Youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xptIEkCHTZ4)
Epic soundscape-breaks legends HYBRID drop their new album, Disappear Here, on 29th March on Distinct’ive Records.
Lloyd S Pointdexter, some guy in a grey suit and parted hair, whose well being and salary come from typing up documents which legally entitle a person's right to envelope their conscience with music, doesn't care about music, the music, your music. You may feel you are supporting Hybrid by purchasing their latest album, Disappear Here(You can check out the new video for the single Break my Soul on their Youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xptIEkCHTZ4)

And you are, they give $3 from your iTunes purchase. But so does iTunes, so does the lawyer, so does the government and the lifestyle of the consumerist market and impulse buying without passion.
the passion. Don't you feel it anymore for the music? the artist, the label, the .com, compression and 5 megabit downloads and "1 click purchase." Don't you feel empty? Don't you feel empty with your 912 megabyte FLAC, MP3 or WAV. Even with all the progress that's been made to make sound engineering tools available to the average consumer, do you really think they'll ever be able to find a way to attach your mind, your heart, your soul, your happiness and memory to a file?
No, that's pathetic.
can you look in the mirror in 20 years and really not point the finger at yourself at the demise of noise, of sound, of music? Why wait until then? Why not now? Digital, get the outta here.
And just one more thing. Vinyls degenerate over time. This is all dependene on your setup, your playback habits among other things. Yes, over time, it will start sounding worse and worse. But that's your copy. Your special copy. Your very own copy.
Don't you ing people understand this? Vinyls attach themselves to YOU. TO YOU. Your turntables, your vinyl, your soul. It's yours. Nobody has one just like yours. Gah, off.
I'm tired of all you s with your JamesHoldenDigitalDownloadExclusive bull.

Vinyl is overrated. I learned this after buying over a thousand. Learn from my mistakes. Buy vinyl for classics or have emotional value but don't buy a vinyl if you're gonna play it for only a month. |
agreed.
dont get turntables. get cheap pioneer CDJs and a cheap mixer, and learn from that. also get a laptop with spare change. u can score a new cheap laptop for things like browsing the net and doing "homework" |

| I can't believe there isn't a laptop out there that can play vinyl. Clearly this thread exposes the need. |
