Anyone make the guestlist?
I got the email at 12:00pm today but by the time i got there it was already full. :(
They were the main reason why i would have gone to Beyond Wonderland, so this would have been perfect.

| The W is impossible to get into at the moment. Probably for the next few months until they stop doing the private party . It's not even technically open yet. |

| are you talking about W or Drais? W is open and had a couple of drinks at the lobby bar a couple of weeks ago. |

My girlfriend and I have heard two different things. She says the entire hotel isn't open for business yet (that might exclude the bar though and include Drai's?) I always forget if Drai's is on the roof or if there is even a bar on the roof or just a pool.
Keep in mind I'm going to trust her knowledge over anyone else's. She works pretty closely with that hotel :p |

Drais is on the top.
We drove by on Friday and there was a big line to get in. All the girls were super hot and everyone was all dressed up. I'm talking about NO JEANS type of dress up. |

I bet they will force this dress code at launch until any crowd dwindles over time. Make the place feel super VIPish.
I am sure they are lining it up to be a celebrity hot spot and aren't concerned with people like us. |

the Living Room is the bar/lounge on the ground floor...
btw, Drai's had the EC Twins and Trent Cantrelle (and Sander?) spinning yesterday at the pool... wanted to swing by but just have too much to wrap up before i leave for miami tomorrow nite...
Bas - the entire hotel portion is open. the private condo residences are opening at the end of the month... |

went to the w yesterday durin the day, its open.
(the guys doing the elevator door at drais said sander was spinning there. drais is catering to the well heeled crowd - but we know the deal - well heeled/vip's/etc for now - but give them a six months to a year or two and they will be beggin all folks to come in.)
their summer pool parties look to be the place to be this summer in la.

but i believe the living room is the ground floor bar and outdoor patio. |

| i was invited and went to this last week at the w in sf. i showed up halfway into the party (which went from 7-11), and when i got there there was no one with a list checking people in. i simply walked right in. it was hosted in the great room, which holds like 500 people, and there was hardly 200 inside--granted this was also on st patty's day and everyone was partying on the pub side of town. it seemed to me like they made it so exclusive that there was no vibe, just a lot of dressy people standing around sipping cocktails lounge style. |

Would assume hotel guests get entrance no problem. I have found the W hollywood on hotwire for under $140. |
