i've managed to write down what i think are two melodic segments into a midi file, http://www.supload.com/sound_confir...=110854312.midi
the first half with the square wave represents the melodic loop which plays during the beats, it sort of fades in at the beginning when the beat is already in full swing... and the second half with the dulcimer instrument represents the climax part of the track
the instruments in the actual song sound roughly similar to these midi instruments
im not sure if there was another distinctive melody in the song, it was too long ago...
all i can remember of it was that it was definitely a remix ... the actual song also had a rolling , ascending-and-descending 'harp' style melodic element which plays before the 'dulcimer' part , but i couldnt remember the exact notes so i didnt try to recreate it
also the bassline had a pattern which goes 'dum dumDUM , dumDUM, dumDUM, dumDUM', i forgot the notes to that too
probably abit redundant saying this if you could already identify the melody, but the actual song also plays quite abit slower than the tempo of the midi
i hope some of what i've posted sounds any familiar to you guys... |
