Of course my most bizarre encounter was at Pacha with a tall middle-eastern guy wearing either a trench coat. Somehow he snuck in a flute.
His routine was as follows; he would dangle a patterened silk scarf in front of a random person for about 10 seconds then bust out his flute and start blowing into it, not actually playing it, just blowing and making those spit like sounds that happen when you don't know what the you are doing.
He did this the entire night...
That was bizarre and so was this old asian man who was wearing arabian pants and just standing still with his hands reaching for the sky.

It's funny because I've been clubbing elsewhere, and you just don't see these shenanigans anywhere else.. Or maybe that's just my experience.. I love New York, even despite its many faults haha...
