Okay, so for the last month or so I've been growing my hair in anticipation of having it cut into that glorious piece of '90s kitsch known as the mullet. Or, as I like to pronounce it in the snooty French way that befits its lofty status, the 'moo-lay'.
Yes, I want to follow in the footsteps of such great names as Richard Dean Anderson,

David Bowie,
and, most importantly, Captain Planet:

More specifically, I'm aiming for a magnificent variation of the mullet I've named 'the skunk' after spotting it on a garbage man recently. Imagine a completely shaved head, with a skunk lying flat on the top and its tail running down the neck.
Spanish speakers; I'll be going to the hair dresser in the next week or so. How would I request such a hairdo, short of pointing at sections of my head and saying 'long' and 'short' in Spanish?
This thread will of course be updated with pictures when the deed is done. |

Really? Seriously, you want a spanish dude to give you the worst haircut in existence? What is your reasoning? Do you think it's cool? Attractive? Interesting?
In most people's opinion, it looks trashy and stupid.

Argentina. |
OK, mullets are pretty popular in Argentina and specially among football players. I don't know of any translation to Spanish of 'mullet', though. If I were you I would just bring a picture and show it to the person cutting my hair. You can also describe it in Spanish as "corto del frente y de los lados y largo de atras".
Hope this helps in getting you to accomplish one of the stupidest things in your life. :p |

It's not for nil that the three of us travelling together have begun referring to Argentina as 'home of the mullet'. |
