| They look like they could be a good choice for beginners if the price is reasonable. I Like them. |

More like aisle 7 in the local Toys R'Us. |

Nah, it's worse than that - I'd actually prefer the Toys R Us version:

So MSRP is 750 and 850 for the DJM, CDJ respectively. Anyone care to guess what the actual list price will be? |
That's crazy. I feel like the DJM-400 is still better than this thing overall, yet this is slotted higher, price wise it seems. :conf: |

What's the pitch resolution on the cdj's like. Couldn't find anything on their site.
To be honest. I can see these doing quite well.
Personally i love the styling. I think they look a lot better than the 200's and 400's. They're clean, simple no frills. No flashy colour (400's) or silly jog wheel (200's)..
I know you all like your high end equipment etc but these could be a really nice cheaper option. Plus the fact that rekordbox could be used might allow you to program your tunes./set a little and then move on to a clubs 2000's when you're playing out.
I dunno i think you're all being a little harsh.
Just my 2c. |

| Looks like they hired someone from Gemini to design these. :nervous: |

If you look closely on the displays, the left one shows 0.15% and the right one 0.02%.
So likely to be 0.02 on 6% range and 0.05 on 10?
EDIT: This pic shows a better display. So, 0.02% on 6:

Nice one.. That's pretty decent :)
Hmmm I'm wondering if these would be a good match up for controlling Traktor/Serato control discs. Could be a cheaper way of getting a deck with .02 resolution for controlling TSP.
hmmmmm. |
