In light of Ed's post last week about Chicane -- thought that you would all appreciate a short clip of a track from his pending album. Nick's fans have really been harsh about the electro-pop influence in his work recently, so great to see him silencing the critics with a return to form:

Eh, I think it needs a remix.

Listen to "Come Back" track...Just love Chicane since Day 1, just wish they would have a live shows in the States sometime..

Love the old tracks, but there's a lot of chillout and ambient (NEW) producers doing a lot better things nowadays... This isn't that good :(

I saw this clip the other day, truly awesome stuff. I think most people who are fans of Far From The Maddening Crowds & Behind The Sun will love this one, as it goes back to that classic sound. Anyone who listens to this track blindly would know it's a Chicane track..he does have that trademark sound & vibe..
Looking forward to the new album

I've also been a long-time Chicane fan who would love to see him live here in the US.
if you haven't listened to his set from last May (Clubbin on SlamFM), you should. that set was the set of my summer '09, I was listening to that on the beach & everywhere else, it's one of those sets you have to listen to on a sunny day with some sand & vodka around. Although it's all his productions, Nick does a great job of blending the tracks into a tight, uplifting set with some reinterpretations there as well. you should check it out if you haven't already--closest thing to seeing him live imo
