im just using Safari on the iMac as Firefox was hogging a lot of memory as does Safari but Chrome wasn't loading a fair few websites for me.

might give Opera a go..

Just buy some more RAM for your Mac. It's really cheap.

Not sure how i'd install it on the iMac... i could do it on a normal PC computer but iMac's are all in 1.
