Alain Octavo is opening at Ruby Skye April 9th. It would not make much sense musically to have Alex play before Glenn Morrison either, I would think that Spundae would agree, making Alex the closer and you look like an idiot. |

yea, Glenn Morrison def plays a lot more mellow than Alex. Good thing about him is that he plays a style that can appeal to both prog trance fans and prog house fans.
Alex Morph and Glenn Morrison are both under Dave Lewis' management, and probably a a part of the reason why they are booked together up there. And I would expect Alain --> Glenn --> Alex that night. But I can't say for sure.
That said, Alex is def trance headliner material. It's not like he's new to the scene. He was playing amazing trance energy sets back in the early 2000s. I have some awesome DVD stuff with him.
He's def hit-or-miss with me in the end. I've heard him play from eh to amazing.
I'll tell you one thing. He really feeds off the crowd and his sets reflect that. If the crowd isn't into him, it'll prob be reflected in his overall set. |
