Lira, do you know what a tunneling electron microscope is? It's a really awesome device that, by using quantum mechanical effect, enables you to see things in gigantic magnification, going as far as showing you the very atoms that everything is made of.
If I were using that device right now I still wouldn't be able to locate my interest in your story.

Yeah, their accent isn't really as accurate as it could be. All words ending with an "s" should have a "sh" instead. However, I don't think they were aiming for perfection anyway, so it didn't really bother me :p

It does, but it's represented by another letter: "r".
In my name, for example (Marcus Lira), I often pronounce the first "r" with this sound, though it's pretty interchangeable with the English "h" (reason why the captain of the aeroplane says "the weather is rrrrot rrrrrot rrrrot"). Only the "r" in Lira sounds the way you'd expect.
