Sounds like something Digweed was playing. Ahhh, I swear I've heard it too. |

| it is one of the better releases to come from BC in a while. however, i hate how there really isn't anything "natural" about this. soooo many synths |

| I don't understand the excitement around this track. Par for the course as far as BC has been concerned lately, imo. |

| Sounds ok, pretty boring though after hearing the sort of arpeggio Nathan Fake used in The Turtle. |

The opposite of what is commonly referred to as "organic", maybe? |

This track is wayyy better than the turtle. The turtle falls flat on its face due to its annoying glitch
Not directed at you but in general I dont get how there are people in this thread not feeling this track. In the first video of the thread, when the additional synth stabs are laid over the main melody, that doesnt do anything for you guy? Are you guys dead or something? What about the pulsing percussion you can hear laying in the background? I like this track to the point that I cannot fathom someone else not enjoying it. It'll probably be one of the best things to be released this year on any dance label |

I think it sounds like trance to me :thepirate And yeah The Turtle is really retarded to mix out of in particular but it was the highlight of Fake's album for me.
I'd only listened to the second Youtube video, sounds better with the reverb from the club definetely, the bass synth itself sounds like Les Beaux/Marionette I though. |

Here's a quick breakdown...
- The bassline/rolling synth has been done. Quite frequently.
- Your "pulsing percussion" is standard and uninspired. Eighth-note hi-hats, whoo hoo, never heard those before!
- The lead synth sounds like a cheap, crappy default FL preset.
- The breakdown brings to mind a part of Daft Punk's live show and the assorted "Electro" acts that blew up as a result of their tour.
It sounds cheap, uninspired and re-hashed. That's my opinion, though. |

| between the cheap synth sound and the laser rainbow that accompanies it, i cant help but think of a really bad ASOT peak timer. surprisingly, this is the first time I have really actively disliked a BC song. where is that dark and gritty techno Avus is known for? yikes... |

It's the bassline. It's kinda nice when the stabs come in, but I can't take it seriously with that bassline. It sounds far too cheap, forced, artificial to trigger an emotional response from me. |
