OLIVER HUNTEMANN (Germany)
Ideal Audio

Oliver Huntemann’s concrete roots can be tracked back to early electronic music, however, like so many of his colleagues, his journey to techno took a slight detour via electro and rave. In his early career it is evident that Huntemann gained inspiration from the harsh, unforgiving nature of his surroundings. Letting this shape his music, Huntemann produces a powerfully gritty and charmingly direct sound, in turn moulding the landscape of techno around him.

As well as numerous singles and almost as many remixes for household names Underworld, Chemical Brothers and Depeche Mode, Huntemann recently released his third album 'H3'. Featuring his monstrous collaboration with Dubfire (Deep Dish), Diablo and Dios, were soon some of the biggest dance tracks of the year. Touring this new album Huntemann will be making his greatly anticipated return to Australia after destroying dance floors at Future Music Festival 2007. Performing a monumental two hour set it is certain that Huntemann will exceed expectations once again.

Live art performance by;

SOFLES

Today Sofles is one of the most prominent and recognisable names within the Brisbane graffiti scene, if not Australia. Only a short 10 years ago he was inspired by artists such as Blends and Seiko, taking no time at all to be working along side these graffiti legends and for his art to develop to a point of infamy never seen before. Having painted numerous murals and pieces incorporated into the décor of venues such as alloneword, Jugglers Art Gallery, The Fort Arts Hub and Neverland on the Gold Coast, Sofles' art is high in demand however not so easy to get your hands on.

Sofles has also been known to showcase his artistic talent live at such events as Big Day Out and Good Vibes in a similar way to how he will be performing at Horizon. The experience differs by that Sofles will be painting a singular piece over a wall scattered with numerous canvases, giving the audience a chance to enter silent auctions to win these canvases after the piece has been completed. A perfect chance for all to enjoy the rare opportunity of seeing such an artist at work and to purchase a piece of his artistic history.

Fashion by;

BLACK MILK CLOTHING

Only just purchasing a sewing machine and teaching himself to sew at the beginning of 2009, James Lillis of Black Milk Clothing, has already achieved more than most could dream of. With his 'Cage' leggings being a cult hit, James, in only just over twelve months, has already been featured on numerous blogs and in anything from your local paper to Vogue magazine. Still admittedly staying up until midnight sewing on the kitchen table and "still getting a buzz every time a girl emails me a picture and tells me how many people commented when she wore out her Black Milk leggings" things are definitely looking positive for the future of James and his insane leggings.
