Nocturnal Friday Night - Summed Up in 1 paragraph

Nic Chagall is playing in the lounge next door, Gareth Emery is throwing down Sander van Droon's Renegade, Trance Energy Theme upstairs and Armin van Buuren is chilling behind him, a guy from Belgium is begging for any DJ to play Push - Universal Nation, around you are people of all nationalities who flew in from all over the world, Tony from Above and Beyond just stepped in, Blank and Jones are getting set to take the stage, someone thinks you're John O'Callaghan and Markus Shulz just sneezed on you.
It is the Winter Music Conference in Miami. |

Markus had really bad allergy attack from all the sulfur that was in the air from the sparklers they were burning when bringing out the bottles.
Indeed it did sum up the night. Oh and 2 NFL offensive lineman (1 from the Dolphins, another from the Rams) talking to Markus about how they are big fans. 6'3 315 lbs each!!!! |

Soon all the NFL players will be fans of Markus, In the future, Imagine if during the NFL football games, They start blasting Markus's tracks in there sound system between plays. :D |

Markus (as usual & expected) + Simon were the win \o/ omg Simon was siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick!!!! SICK SICK SICK! He needs to be booked ALONE and give us at least a 4 hour set. My brain would probably be mush after but in a good way lol. Srsly, so glad to see trance be booked like that. It was pretty dead @ the beginning but it got a bit more packed. I just HATE Nocturnal. It's a ty club with a ty system (which some of the DJ's before Markus made sound even worse with the highs up way too much) BUT wow people get away with so much. I'll elaborate the last part of that sentence later (with pix) haha. |

| I have never really followed any of Gareth's music over the years and I have to say he opened my eyes this year. I saw him at both Anjuna and SPIN and I have to say he obliterated the place both times. Markus killed it too at both his events but Gareth stood out as just being phenomenal. |

| I saw Gareth @ Anjuna for the 1st time and loved the energy and hard breakdowns in his set. But Markus' epic 4 hour set Tuesday gets the nod IMO, as it's much harder to keep it going strong that long |

Such a great night. I was so low-energy after the stampede of Ultra and the 40 min wait to get a drink, but once I got to the event, boom went the dynamite. Was on the terrace mostly, but caught a lot of CG and Markus too. Isma-ae and Gareth were bringing it.
