i downloaded all 3 cds. there was about 40 files in each cd. i extracted each cd into a seperate file which made 2 files for each cd- dlm-rsn1.bin and dlm-rsn1.cue. i try burning this to a cd but it didnt work, i tried changing the extention name from bin to iso and that didnt work. so what do i do know. And dont waste your time posting "why do you just go by it".

Use something like Nero to burn a CD Image of your bin file. Don't outright burn the bin file onto CD.

If you were using Nero, click on the Burn from CD image option and then select the cue file. The cue file will tell the burner how to handle the bin file.

i'm using roxio easy cd 5. why wouldnt that work
Scottaculous
My version Roxio 5 only accepts iso files. A bin file is not an iso file.

well i guess ill be getting nero then thanks. where can i get it

Best is you either burn it with Cdrwin, or you can also extract the bin files with a program called Isobuster. And burn the extracted files on the cd's. It's your choice.

Check on the TA DC server, or use any DC Hub, you can also check Kazza.. Lots of people will ahve Nero as it is a staple of CD burning etc. I have it around here somwhere. :-p Just Search for "Nero Burning Rom"

people, just because youre changing a file extension doesnt mean that youve changed the file type. i've seen that a lot on these forums. a 40mb .wav file will still remain a 40mb .wav file if i change the extension to .mp3, it wont be changed at all. a .bin file or a .cue will remain the exact same even if i put .iso as the extension, therefore, stop ruining your files and find out how to convert them the right way...

back on topic, for burning .bin, .cue and .iso Fireburner is great, it was made just for that. Nero is the best of all of course, but Fireburner is smaller and easier when you just want to burn a file without much trouble...

you can use the demo without registering i think...

Lot's of people on the DC hub have it (including me). But beware it's 3 cd's big.
