| Download a trial copy of Ableton Live or something like that, maybe a wave editor. As long as you have saved your set you can then download into these programs and view it. Or you could even run your setup as line input into a channel in Live to record and view it live. |

Your question isn't clear enough for anyone to really answer.
Are you trying to record the set and then view the wav file? If you are, Audacity is a free recording program. It's pretty straight forward.

| It's not possible if you are playing the music from your CD players. You'd have to upgrade to the CDJ-2000 model, or play your music directly off the computer using Traktor Scratch and control it with the CD players using timecode CDs. |

no, any decent sound card can record wav files obviously. The problem is its almost certain the files hes playing on the cdj's are mp3's so the ".wav" files wouldn't even be wav's anyways |

| I don't think he's asking to see his .wav files, but asking how to view his set/tracks as wave on his laptop. Any sound source, including mp3's can be viewed that way, you just have to get the source (his dj setup) into the computer. He needs some sort of program (a couple have been mentioned) and a sound card with line inputs. |

It seems to me that the OP is asking: How do I view--in real time--the waveforms of the tunes that I am currently playing on my CDJs?
I believe the answer is to use the CDJ2000s or, alternatively, launch the MP3s/WAVs via a sequencer/DJ program (e.g. Live, Traktor).
However, maybe Cam is right and the OP wants to know how to record his sets as WAVs. |
