Sounds to me like mashup more than a some kind of remix...

I guess it's a PvD Remake since he's already got the essentials.
sounds like his basskick. could somebody confirm?

Sounds good, especially as an intro tune. Anybody got any clue what it can be?

It's track #25 from the mix, played after JOC - "Our Dimension"

PVD's style of mixing isn't bad per-say, he does a lot of key mixing which to the untrained ear just sounds like he faded from one track to the other really quick for no reason.

In actuality, there is more skill in key mixing than in the whole beat matching concept, If I gave someone two tracks warp markered to the average Ableton user that PVD key mixed I seriously doubt 95% of people could do what he does with it.

Trust me though, his Ableton tracks are are warp markered extremely well and I have not heard a train-wreck from him in a really long time.

The was some hiccups in the recording that Sirius played but not in the actual set, I was there

aw dude trust me i'm one of those ppl who knows PvD's master ability to mix:)
I just heard from a few friends who are fans of PvD say this mix was a bit suspect at times...

actually you can hear the horn which is installed in the club sometimes.

in addiction to this he's using some clap & percussion loops on top of the audio files and some bitcrusher as effect.
