Why when I change the language in the Regional and Language options, the interface language doesn't change? Only the number, currency, mesurement, and date/time formats change. Is there any way that I could change the langauge entirely on Windows XP? If not, will I have to get a foreign version of Windows XP in order to run it in the other language? Also, is Windows XP sold as a different package for each LANGUAGE (like English, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, etc.) or a different package for each REGION of the world (like east Asia, Europe, Middle East, etc.)?
Also, my 2nd question is: Even though I have an English version of Windows XP, why when I switch the language in the Region/Language options to English (United Kingdom), I don't get the language. instead I still see spellings such as "Color" and "Initialize" instead of "Colour" and "Initialise". Is there any way I can fix this?
Thanks for any info that you give me! |
