It's a beautiful stadium. The area outside is horrible. Nothing is finished. Just a big construction site. Ill give it a couple more years before that area develops and its going to be perfect. Really nice stadium over all though.

I went this past weekend for NY vs. Chicago, it was an absolutely phenominal experience, I felt like I was at a Manchester vs. Barcelona game at the Champions League final. The crowd was absolutely incredible, the stadium is loud as ; people were singing for 90 minutes straight, the chants echo twice as loud as at Giants Stadium and because it's near the Path, a completely new clientele is attending the games. There were a load of people coming from Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan to see the game, a nice change from the 80% crowd of 10 years old and under that you're used to seeing at Giants Stadium.
You should definitely check out their next home game, I'm buying season tickets because this first home opener was a great indication of how much fun this season is going to be. The tickets were sold out the past 2 weeks, and some pointers before you go: searching isn't tight at all, you can bring food in no problem... don't drive, by all means, don't drive... if you're taking Path from NYC, give yourself at the very least 30-40 minutes, and make sure to buy your roundtrip ticket, it's mayhem after the game to buy a ticket.
It was an incredible night, a good moment for local soccer that I've personally been dreaming of since the start of MLS in 1995. New York just hasn't been able to put their together until this year, and I have a good feeling about it!

it looks awesome from the outside. Im just glad they are playing on natural grass. Its a sin to play on artifical grass unless you live/play in russia where the weather is so damn cold.
I cant wait to hit up a game to see how the stadium is inside! =)

Awesome goal to open up the stadium... The place wasn't fully packed until about the 50th or 60th minute; that's how bad the parking and traffic was!!! I feel like the 100-200 empty seats that were there were from people who just turned their cars around and said it... DON'T DRIVE!

The ESC guys behind the goalie even did the whole smoke-bomb thing, Italian style, it was awesome!!! Check out around the 3:10 mark haha..
