this thread made me want a dog even more then usual :( I'm so tired of stupid cats

Cats aren't all bad Kris. Get a Siamese, they're dog like.

I hear ya. I love being on splits cause I can take Axel to the park for a few hours between shifts.
Nax and I used to go before work for a couple of hours every day.
It's a great way to socialize them and get their energy out. |

Get a bengal cat. They're ing awesome. My brother has one named Indiana. He's the best cat in the world. The only cat worth owning IMO. I want a white one.

I used to think the same thing. German Shepherd being my fav big dog...

I live with a roomie and she already has a cat :(
I always wanted a dog but I can't deal with 2 pets in a apartment so I'll wait till I live alone :) |

I wanted one too! But the shelter had a tiger-striped-like tabby, and I couldn't leave him behind :( |

I'm sorry for making you feel sad.
It wasn't what I was aiming for. His sole purpose in life was to make people happy.
He was a great dog, and he's really sorely missed, I'm pissed at myself that he was the one that had to be my learning curve, but at the same time, I'm so happy for everything he taught me about being a dog owner.
Because of what happened to him, I feel like I can get a little annoying when I start preaching the importance of knowing what bloat is, and how to deal with it and how important it is to know what to do to anyone who has a large breed dog, or a deep chested dog. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE educate yourself on it. It's literally a matter of life and death with your pooch.
