what is the definition of the music I like?

| OK I know this sounds crazy , I just got back from WMC and loved everything about it. I listened to all kinds of music and started to better understand what I like and more importantly what i do not like. Basically Im not a fan of trance and what I will categorize as softer stuff, I think I like progressive house, and hard house if thats a type. I went out to Space and heard Boris and Ferry spinning and on Pandora I may find them a little melody, with many anthem and cherry music- but the way they were spinning that night was like nothing I ever heard from either of them- hard beats, great sounds. So now I find myself trying to find similar music with similar beats and movable beats but have yet to hit on it. I do not like drum and bass btw..just trying to find similar styles. Any help or suggestions are appreciated. |

| lol sorry meant cheery happy go lucky- singing to each other the lyrics while your dancing together- that lol. Sorry just not my thing. |

Just go to beatport and check the charts of the different genres there, whatever you like best is what genre you should be looking more into. BP has a tendency to be a little off on their genres, but it should give you a general idea.

Thanks Redd great suggestion I actually never checked out beatport before but will do.
Yeah no vocal trance for me- thanks again.
Your right Joss- I actually do like a wide variety of all EM- just trying to find the specific type for the car and gym. |
