Businesses will benefit somewhat from this. They will be able to rebate the whole 13% on inputs instead of just the 5% GST that is rebated now. This will affect business negatively because consumers will be stuck with the final bill which will give them substantially less purchasing power. I know i plan to beat the tax by filing more under my business and then buying as much personal stuff as i can in the US.
If Dalton Mcdouchebag didnt want this to be a tax grab he could have
a)kept the exemptions as is and allowed the HST to be rebated for inputs
or
b) lowered the HST to 10%
Dalton can suck my left nut. |

It seems that there may be some good news after all with this bull tax...
The builder's we've been seeing keep "including" the HST to the price of the home..
Thing is, if the sale(tax included) price is $405,000, how am I getting charged HST if the before tax price is less than $400,000...
I think that someone is def wrong here and I'm thinking that the provinces website isn't the wrong one...
Are the builders trying to pull a scam??? |

"I will not raise taxes."
I be pissed at Dalton, but it's ing John Tory's dumb ass that got us in this mess.
All he had to do during the last election campaign was say "Dalton McGuinty is a liar." over and over and over, and Libs would have been ousted.
"Hey Mr. Tory, what's your plan for education?"
What he said:
"Well, we're going to fund religious schools in a secular society."
What he should have said:
"I'm going to do great things with education, what I won't do, is lie about my plans like Mr. Mcguinty."
"Hey Mr. Tory, how are you going to stop crime?"
"Well I certainly won't lie about it like Mr. McGuinty."
"Hey, Mr. Tory, where do you see Ontario in the next 5 years?"
"Ontario will be strong, prosperous, and led by an honest leader, which has sorely been lacking since the election of Dalton McGuinty."

no problem
The McGuinty government has things backwards. The solution to their big government spending is to tax the people and push their out of control spending on us. Most people are just getting by, and now this tax could really stress the resources of the middle and lower class. He claims that it will create jobs...lies, he said that the amount of money small business will save they will pass on to the consumer...not a chance in hell, if your business saves some money why would you pass that on? Now hes going back on his word about helping Toronto with the transit system. UFC would generate millions of dollars for Toronto yet he wont even let this happen.
This guy has shown time and time again that he cant keep his word. I hope everyone remembers why their pockets feel lighter in the next election and get this ****** out.
you McGuinty you |
