Think about it before turning the COR into suicide obsessed place where the lines between sarcasm and genuine confessions are often scarily blurry.
I recognize the irony of opening a thread on the very subject. Still, time to turn the volume down a bit imho. |

| I read that the release of A Clockwork Orange in Europe back in the 70's caused a wave of violence in a similar pattern to the movie. Same with rap music and Columbine. |

I blame Goethe!
But, yeah, you don't always need to publish the story though, I'm afraid. Here where I live there's a shopping mall with a very big patio on which rumours said people leaped to their deaths constantly. The media did everything to prevent it from being reported because of the Werther Effect (and stupid parents blamed capitalism for that), but the amount of suicides was so overwhelming that now there are glass walls on every floor.

According to a friend of mine, her cousin never really recovered from the sight of a guy dying a few metres away from her. |
