Just noticed this listed on djstore.com as coming soon. Looks like it could be half descent if the build quality's good.

The X5 was the first mixer that i bought (2 channel).
The bastard broke down on me after 9 months, apparently there was an issue w/ the main chip inside. This was covered under warranty.
The inbuilt effects were decent as well & very easy to use.
But after the breakdown, i dont trust Numark anymore.
Hopefully the X7 is a more reliable model. |

How you get the X5 if it's not even out yet? It just got announced at Musicmesse last week?

I forgot the exact model # coz the unit is packed in a box in the corner of my room gathering dust.

Numark has been surprising everyone as of late. They been making higher end equipment again, like they used to back way back in the early 90's.
Their new Serato Itch products are no toys. I got a chance to play with the new V7 turntables back in January and they were amazing. The X5 & X7 are higher end mixers that are to complement the V7's. That said, those mixers are probably not going to be cheap at all. |
