The only tune i like from Moby is 'Porcelian' (spelling may be wrong but you know which one i'm talking about hopeully :D ). Fatboy has done good by his tunes for the 'Moulin Rouge' soundtrack (though i've never seen the movie, i did see the behind the scenes).

Fatboy Slim nearly singlehandedly redefined the term "sample based artist". He's one of my all-time favourites and he's one of the 3 acts who got me into electronic music (the other 2 being Chemical Brothers and Prodigy)
Moby, on the other hand, singlehandedly redefined the term "copy and paste".
Seriously, if you put one of his last 2 albums playing can you tell which one it is just by listening to him??
I used to have respect for him but now... urrgh... |

| I used to be a bigger fan of Moby awhile ago. Play as an album is awesome. However, what I have heard of so far from the new one, I am not all that down with. Some of his older stuff is pretty good too. Hes ok live.. as long as he doesnt spout off on politics. He includes the word mysogony in every paragraph he writes, that is a bit annoying. I will be seeing him again this year at area 2. If someone was spinning at the time, I would probably check that out.. however, like last year, its moby's show and he is the only performer at that time. |

| Fatboy Slim is awsome! no one can deny that! he knows how to work a crowd and interact and he is awsome at mixing too, so i may not listen to his style of music but credit where its due the man deserves his praise! if he was so bad would 250 000 people have tried to turn up at a free party on brighton beach tht he threw and DJed at?! |

| Fatboy Slim would be a laugh to see live. Moby just sucks. I wouldn't call either of them Pioneering though, just coz they made popular tracks doesn't meen the built an entire scene. People like Oakenfold were the real pioneers. |

all i said was that i don't like them and that between the two which one did you guys think was better (or rather less evil :wtf: ) i wasn't talking about how they are pioneers or how well they mix or how well they work a crowd because i don't give a about them. while they maybe good at working a crowd or what not, that wasn't my ing question.

| these two & The Chemical Brothers + Prodigy got me into electronic...both Moby & Fatboy Slim are highly talented...Mobys stuff though has been kinda unimpressive to me lately...but 'Play' is top...just plain ground-breakin...Fatboy...his DJ skills are some of the best...i cant see anyone not respectin these guys...i can see people not likin em...lol... |

you both are ing ridiculous!!! just because they make music that you dont prefer, doesnt mean they 'suck ass'. i dont like moby's music that much, but i respect him as an artist. as far as fatboy slim is concerned, his productions are so much fun, and yea, i can see how many people would not like it, especially people from a 'trance addict' forum. fatboy slim is an incredible DJ. has anyone seen him spin? i bet, not very many people here have. he is a great dj.
its like i said above, just because someone produces and/or spins music that you dont prefer, dont talk about them. cause remember, look at where they are in life, and then look at yourself.
just my rambling.... nothing personal...
