Well, this one's probably more poppy than the TA collective typically prefers, but hopefully some of you will dig it. :p

First song in player - "Taking Me On" [192kbps] (not the crappy myspace player ;) )

This is excellent work!
Loving the synth vibe here - very now. Clarity is excellent and I like the fact there isn't too much clutter or a 'wall of sound' as I find this easier and nicer on the ear.
Damed well mixed and very accomplished. Your best to date for me.
In terms of personal taste I'd want to hear the vocal a little less prominent and glued into the mix - just a minor taste thing though. Maybe a 'radio edit' with the vocal perhaps a little 'autotuneized', not for any reason other than to give it that falva the kids love just now! But fully appreciate this might not be on your importance / taste scope.
Always look forward to your stuff.

Sweet! Just caught this.
Love the FM blippiness of this tune. Nice work around the vocals.
Great job, nice tune and a solid, well balanced mix. |

Good stuff as usual. Love the synth pads in the background. Great mixing. Love the phat bassline too.
and yes, a trendy auto-tune style vocal would quite possibly be good for this song, but the song is fine as is. |

| Didn't like the first part personally, but when the vocals kicked in it brought the track to its place, great job! |

Thanks for the listens and comments, guys! Sorry so late in responding - finishing this song sorta threw my family/work schedule off a bit!
@Richard/FSP - I'll definitely give the autotune vox idea some thought. This song actually started off much differently, but I didn't really like the direction it was going at the time, but listening back to it now, it might sound good as an alternate version with autotuned vox. |

To be honest I much preferred the lovely "Bound", but I have nothing against this track at all :p
Good work nonetheless. Everything seems to work really well with each other and the track has a lots of clarity. |

| hey man, very nice craftsmanship as expected from you. this might sound stupid, but have you tried a gentle 4x4 sidechain on the vocal before, my reasoning for this would to furthermore stick the vocal into the piece. personal preference talking here, and i probably shouldnt open my mouth ;+ |
