basically go around and pick up blocks and then build some structure out of them, all autonomously

Obviously a claw grip thing is good for picking stuff up off the ground, but that doesnt translate into the fine motor mechanics needed to stack and align things. Maybe a dedicated mechanism just for that? Like a little pooper that poops out the bricks in a row then tis anus moves up a level and poops out another row on top while a stabilizing wall runs down the side so they dont collapse when they get on?
