Domination is a great song, though yeah probably more like prog house lol.
I actually really like Gamemaster still. Not sure if it's just nostalgia from Tranceport or what, but still a favourite song of mine. |

| Domination is surely more entrancing and hypnotic than 95% of the bull suggestions I got from the website tracks search feature. If you use a more open minded definition of the genre you can surely include this track (and many others) in a trance list. |

That's the thing, though: I don't find it hypnotic or entrancing. I think it's exactly the opposite, because it's not repetitive at all. It has so many different stages and ideas, from the intro through the build, the main section, that wonderful cascading breakdown and the outro. It's constantly doing something different. |

| I love that Opera is getting so much attention on these lists. Not sure if I'll ever complete a top 10, simply because it's a lot of work. First going through a load of candidates, then deciding which are really trance or not, and then sorting out just ten. My head hurts a little just by thinking about it. |

If you'll excuse me, but I've been listening to "trance music" since June '08 (First track I ever heard was Safri Duo - Played A-Live, so that song is pretty much the picture I have of trance music), so you might consider this list shallow and unfinished. Also, I don't really know if this was the order I arranged the tunes.
Note: I've linked the names to respective YouTube clips, so you can instantly listen to them. It's recommended to listen to the 10th clip and upwards.
1. Norland - Airglow
To me, this is the greatest tune I've ever heard. I can't describe it, you have to listen to it by yourself.
2. David Nelloms - Aurum
This is how a perfect trance song should be arranged, starting with a soothing break intro and ending with a soothing break outro.
3. Reconceal & Andy Blueman - The World To Come (Andy Blueman Mix)
Big fan of Andy's music.
4. Armin van Buuren - Imagine
The bombastic, cinematic intro steals the show.
5. Dave 202 presents Impaxx - Feel
As you've might figured out, listening to the tracks below, I like my tunes epic, futuristic, energetic and complex. That's what caught me on.
6. Adam Szabo - Altra
Adam is the trance world's Santana.
7. Safri Duo - Everything (& Everything Epilouge)
The best track Morten & Uffe has delivered. An epic masterpiece, mixing ancient sounding percussions with a to me futuristic sound.
8. Robert Nickson & Daniel Kandi vs. Armin van Buuren feat. Justine Suissa - Wall of Rewire (Avenger Remix)(Airbase Bootleg Mashup)
One word: Heavy!
9. Yahel - Voyage
Very alien- and sci-fi-like atmosphere on this track. I like it.
10. Eric Shaw - Remixing: "Feeltz - Wave Lift"
Don't know why I chose this production over all other Eric has made, should have put his "Sea of Sorrows" on that spot instead.
