I even made a point of buying stuff in the US when I went through by car and I was repaid with some bull excuse when I went to collect the boat I bought... I drove to and from the border twice that day requiring like a tank of gas each time the next time I drove twice the distance to be denied entry. Both times I was very upset about the denials because both times were good experiences that no one was being hurt from it was a good arrangement for everyone involved yet CBP made up excuses (second time was a little sketchy) to keep me from carrying out my business without actual evidence to demonstrate why I shouldn't be allowed in - instead the onus of lack of good enough evidence kept me out eg. The reason why that upset me is because what they said really wasn't the situation and to me it was them lying to me about myself.
The airport thing was a pissoff because not only was I delayed after waiting in the airport for a day, but I then missed my ride back from Toronto, and had to pay for airport service delivery back the over 100kms back to the city $$$. Not only this but each time I went there they gave me a different story - then they expect me to pay 500+$ for a waiver for "not having sufficient ties to canada" give me a ing break it is so ing utterly offensive.
If it was a legitimate story sure but this has been just plain bull and cost me thousands of dollars in assets and lost funds.. it is not cool. I've done all to the US and actually went out of my way to pump cash into their economy, and I was returned with a whole load of mis treatment - that is what it is about.
Soul tearing is pretty much the whole unjustified hellfire. In other words they pissed me off, from what I consider unreasonable grounds to do so. If the grounds were there communicated or recognized it would be a whole different story - so far it is just a bunch of ing s. I don't like the image of a nation to rest on that point. |

What the does your situation have to do with 9/11 and terrorists? If you're going to talk about dwelling on 9/11, you would've done better had you mentioned the victims families.
Really. Whining about something that happened in the past will never change the fact that it happened. All that you can do is learn from your experience and move on. Clearly you have learned, since you're now traveling direct. The next step is to move on.
