If you were to make a pc studio, what bits of audio related software would you definately have. so far i have these. cnat think of anything else... :)
Winamp or another mp3 player
Reason/Rebirth/Recycle or some other production sofware
Cubase (is this just a wave editor or is it a sequencer?)
dMC POwer AMP (LAME) or another ripper
Nero or another piece of cd writing software
what about mixing software, what would you reccomend. i liek mix meister for pre recording cd's etc, but what about on the fly? |

Gosh, you missed the most important ones:
1.Sound forge (audio editor)
2.Acid (Audio mixer/time streach compresser)
3.A LOT of plug-ins. Especially a good compressor, reverb, and delay
4. Sonar or Cubase or Logic (midi and audio sequencer)
and not quite so important:
1. Fruity loops (great for building ideas) |

| I use CoolEdit for a wave editor ;), pretty essential to me (I never was the sound forge type) |
