View this Thread in Original format thekman I was just wondering what everybody thinks about which are the best needles to buy given that my most important criteria is to minimize vinyl wear? Sound quality and durability of the needle are important too, but for now I only spin in my basement so I'm most concerned with the longevity of my records. Which needles will damage my vinyl the least while still sounding decent? djbluesky I am almsot sure that there are moany other posts about this subject becaseu it is such a common question posed by newer djs. I would say a big part of needle purchasing has to do with how much you are willing to spend, what kind of style you are spinning, and of course your preference of stylus.
