I completely agree with this. I only wish the combat and character progression were a little deeper, but I'm still enjoying it quite a bit. I really love the art style and feel of this game...the environments are beautiful. And a lot of Nobuo fanboys would disagree, but the music (except for the cheesey J-pop) is absolutely fantastic.

I only played Final Fantasy 3 and that was always my favourite rpg type game. Tried FF7 but didn't get into it.
