| wow..and its still 3 weeks away! what time should we go there to get in for sure? i went yesterday for mark farina and got a free ticket from the promoter at 1030pm-ish, and the place wasnt too packed. but markus will pull an even bigger crowd, i'm thinking i should get there around 9pm-ish? |

for sure, thanks. i went to sutra yesterday for my first giant event there. they really upgraded the setup since i last went, pretty dope. my only gripes are that in took me 45min to get in when it wasnt even packed and the bottle service area is blocking the dj booth! sometimes security/ppl would get in the way and it totally just kills the vibe IMO...but ehh, free edm events on thursdays, cant really complain. |

The rules seem to be like most presales. Get there before a certain time and you're in. Most places have a 1am or midnight cutoff. This one is just 11pm. In both cases, you get there after that cutoff time and it's at capacity you aren't getting in. With ticket sales, you get priority admission after the cutoff time of course. With the express it ticket, I imagine they would do a similar thing for you if you arrived after 11pm so as long as some people left to cut capcity down.
With ticket sales, prices rise as you get closer to the date. Early bird sales, etc. Hey wait, it's what they do for this "express it" thing too! Start at $10, move to $15, move to $20.
The night revolves around always being free and is marketed that way. If they had "ticket" sales, they couldn't do that. So it's "express it" passes or whatever.
That's my guess. Don't see any other reason.
BTW, I don't have a problem with them selling the express it stuff. I just hate they call it that. Plenty of nights have free guestlists for those on newsletter list, pay attention to boards etc, and regular ticket sales on the side. |

| sooo much for free before 1030pm..looks like they're charging $10 before 1030pm..still not too bad of a price to see markus |
