Couldn't find the most recent thread on this. Just caught up on this week's 2 hour event. I felt the ending coming but didn't wanna believe it.
Hassan was worthy of the silent clock.
Anyone else all caught up this season? What did you think? |

just wondering...
6:00 - 7:00
why is the president still in n.y.
why did renee give up her gun?
why did it take jack 5 minutes to bust open a rickety old door?
why does dana have the complexion of a 40 year old crack whore?
why is it so hard to find ethan?
why does jack have the complexion of a 40 year old crack whore?
why don't they use the gps in hassans phone to find him?
why is his name bishop, but he looks like an a-rab?
why did it take him only 20 seconds to find the van?
why does every does everyone always say "with all due respect" right after totally disrespecting someone?
why does chloe suddenly not have a clue?
why does no one question dana's offer to personally escort cole back to the ctu war room?
why did cole bother getting his parking permit validated?
why didn't they hit a single red light on the entire 15 minute ride back to the hideout?
why did just a little bit of oxygen bring ethan back from the brink?
why hasn't renee blinked once since the season started?
why does tarin need dana to find him an "exit" when there's a cross street every 1/8 mile?
why did they ask jack if he could see hassan when they knew he was five blocks behind him?
why did someone steal the driver side airbag out of the denali last time it got serviced?
why was that little honda hybrid able to drive right out of the garage?
how the hell the guy driving hassan find a "replacement" team to take the president when he only had a 30 second warning from Dana? Do the terrorists have people sitting in every parking garage in the city in case they are needed?
7:00 - 8:00
why did they show the "previously on 24" prequel to the show when they ran the two hours back to back?
why did the nsa servers not pick up the "chatter" from danas 30 cell phone calls?
why can't the nsa track their own phones, but they can see will smith scratch his ass in enemy of the people from
200 miles up?
why is the computer geek\ crack whore allowed to carry a gun in the first place?
why didn't cole get rid of her when he had the chance?
why did cole suddenly come down with foot in mouth disease?
in light of all that's happened, why would cole think that being "in charge of hassans security for the last month" score him any points with hastings?
did dana just promote herself to head of ctu?
why do people always bleed after being slapped on 24?
why does the terrorists hypo look right out of a dentists office from the 1950's?
if the governments policy is to not deal with terrorists, then why do they always end up doing it?
how did jack know the top lock was locked and the bottom one was unlocked without even checking?
just wondering.. |

I felt the season was a mixed bag. At times the scenarios were predictable and the acting wasn't great, but when I was ready to condemn it, I was surprised and found something I liked. This last week double episode was very good in my opinion.
I was impressed with the acting of Dana, Renee, Jack, and many of the terrorist. I also liked the ending because you thought that they saved Hassan only to find it was on tape delay.
Its far from perfect, you get tired of always the terrorist have a mole in CTU. And when they get caught they always get a Presidential immunity deal. I also thought Dana as the mole was contrived just to throw us a curve. How about Chloe holding a gun to an NSA guy so she could do her IT magic. Ridiculous! |

Yeah, I totally did not see the tape delay coming.
Excellent acting by Hassan as well I thought. When he makes a last ditch effort to get through to Samir...really powerful stuff.
The Russian's coming back into the picture intrigues me. What are the chances Renee is actually still working with them? I don't think they'd go that far but you just never know with these writers! |

I did. That can't EXACTLY repeat the Secretary of Defense scene when he was about to get executed a few seasons back.
24 is nothing but repeats such as:
1. Moles in CTU
2. CTU gets attacked, bombed, EMPed (I guess they never learn.)
3. Jack always works for the president.
4. Somebody will always undermined the president.
5. Times of bombs will have a few seconds left
6. The CTU SWAT team will always have incompetent people who are scared to do their job, a job whose training should have well prepared them for what they are doing.
7. Terrorist always have scrambled phones that NSA cannot crack.
The biggest thing that bothers me this season is that CTU is a Top Secret place that deals with national security. However, Walmart has better security than CTU. The new place is made out of windows that can be viewd from the entrance! An old ass guy is just able to walk around the place like it is a farmer's market.
It used to be my favorite show, now i'm glad to hear that the series is ending. Hopefully the movie will make up for it. |

Oh man I know. How much can one guy take? Once again, I did not see that coming, at least at that point. And I at least thought maybe they'd drag out her surgery a little. That's the best back to back eps I can remember in a LONG time.
Side note: Taylor's gonna regret bringing Logan on, that slimeball. :whip: |

I knew that it was coming. Nobody jack ever loved ever lives. Well, if they live they end up being arrested or kept in a hospital.
Honestly i would not be surprised if Audrey Raines comes back out of no where. It can only get that stupid. |

I knew as soon as Jack said he's done that they'd have to do something to bring him back in... [in the movie trailer's voice] "AND NOW ITS PERSONAL" duh duh duh |

Last episode was great. But i'm sad because of what happened to Rene. I was hoping that Jack could have a nice life after the movie with her..
Anyway great Chloe moment again, she is great. :)
Logan, back, saw his muthering smile in the car, he is a bitch. Hehe |
