dam you said it best, times have changed
the vibe in that video is insaneeeeeeee
and the music is madd upbeat and dark good video
as for the topic back in 88 i was 6 years old
so i was mostly just listenin to what my parents had on the radio
which was mostly some pop stuff and freestyle
altho everytime i hear this track it takes me back to 88 :)
EliPsE
My parent's were into this stuff back in the day but my dad is too tough to admit it.
ps. haha the long hair and dance moves are great.
Konijn
great vid. in bay ridge, the OLPH church (of all places) would frequently host latin-house/acid-house/rap-house parties in their gym in the early '90s. the spanish kids from sunset park would rip it up on the dancefloor.

1) The was better back then.
2) The EDM as whole was blossoming, everyone was trying different approach and wern't afraid to express themselves.
3) Now days DJs and producers pigeonhole themselves into one genre and never venture out and seek new sound.
4) Then there are us. People on Internet criticizing everyone in EDM if they do something that we don't approve of.
I may be generalizing my ass off on this, but sometimes I think we are way too spoiled and expect way too much from our DJs and producers.
Those people in the Video didn't really care where Sasha was ranked in the DJ mag top 100 DJs nor how his mixing and sellection that night was. Yes, Sasha was one helluva DJ, but I think the people in the video created the vibe and kept it going.
I'm gonna go back to those days at least in spirit and enjoy myself every opportunity. I just need to find better ...
