yeah I've seen that, I just didnt consider "According to some sources "Steve Forte Rio" is an anagram for "Tiësto Forever"" to be a very solid proof..

they're loosely explaining that this myth started when I unjumbled the anagram and asked Tiesto if it was him... he didn't say no.

but yeah, its not 100% confirmed or anything.

Why are'nt you guys crying about Blackhole now being owned by a Major Label (Koch)?

You guys cry about virtually anything, yet dont cry about the worste news of all lol.

Major label shills indeed.

Probably because they aren't owned by a major label? What the are you talking about?

Well thats the Story. Why would major labels allow an independent label the size of Koch be truly independent? Music industry is one of the most controlled industries in the world...there truly is only 5 players.

Koch is distributed by Universal, and likely also owned by Universal. There is no way in hell that the 5 Majors would allow an indie the size of Koch to keep running without having bought them out, or having started it in the first place as a side project. All of these major labels have dozens of "indepedent" sublables.

The closest anyone got to big indie label was Death Row Records...and look what happened to them.

And lets say they are 'independent', they operate nothing like the independents we see in electronic music. They operate and have the same connections as the major labels, and the same access to distribution as major labels. So who cares if they call themselves independent? The truth of the matter is, Blackhole is now owed by E1 (Koch), which operates just like a Major.
Lews
No. The truth is that Black Hole is distributed by Koch/E1.

Arny Blink owns it.

I'm not saying they're an indie label, but they're not owned by some huge mega label like you're trying to make it sound like.
