Actually, this is the mentality that ruins music.

The mentality that their can be a balance that serves both his older fans and new fans?

And Kismet I completely understand where your coming from but having been a fan I like many was hoping their would be some old favorites on here and not just what we would expect.

And I was a fan sir. I own records, CD's, DVD's and went to both of his "Tiesto In Concert" shows in LA. I've spent my share of money just not on things of his I don't enjoy which has been most of what he's done within the last couple of years. So I don't think it's fair to say I'm not a fan.

How would you balance it and not alienate the 99% of his fans that this particular product is perfect for?

As it is, this release is as good as it can be for his fans...

His fans arent DJs, they are getting the good parts of the tracks, that work perfectly well for the CD format, and for sticking into their iPods.

Please, explain why we're not fans. I'm interested to see your conclusion.

Theirs two CDs.

One serves the older Tiesto and his aliases throughout his "younger" years. Second serves his more current hits that are more well known by his current fanbase.

Is that really too much to ask for?

You said yourself his fans aren't DJs therefore the second CD included shouldn't be included seeing how it's full of full length remixes of his own music. So CD 2 has already alienated 99% of his fanbase.

I was being sarcastic :p

I would only go see him if he was still doing Forbidden Paradise / Early Magik / Early ISOS stuff, which obviously isn't good enough for him.

uh...I don't sleep on a bed. I sleep on the ground on a 4-5 inch homemade "mattress." Something you might see in Japan :D

can anyone mention which tracks are from 1998 and 1999? I have a feeling all or most are post 2001?
