THE THRILLSEEKERS
Over the last 10 years The Thrillseekers have stood at the forefront of both club and electronic dance music culture. From his debut Top 20 hit 'Synaesthesia' through to latter club anthems 'By Your Side', ‘Waiting Here For You’ & his latest epic ‘The Last Time’, Steve Helstrip’s music ranks as some of the most affecting, inspiring ever made. With artisan mixing skills and an innate, individualistic music selection, he’s conquered clubs around the planet, playing across 70+ countries and notching up over 500 gigs in his career. To date he’s been placed in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs chart 4 times, reaching No. 45 in 2008. He’s worked with electronic pioneers like Trevor Horn, shared co-production credits with Chicane and co-written on Ferry Corsten’s Grammy nominated ‘Right of Way’ album, notching up over 60 club-stomping productions and remixes in the process. He’s reworked Tiësto and Armin, amongst a host of others, and rewired Sonique’s ‘Feels So Good’ into a worldwide No.1 record. Through the now-legendary ‘NightMusic’ albums and supporting tours, he has also sold in excess of 50,000 compilation units and smashed 150 NightMusic branded events worldwide.
MARTIN ROTH
In 2008 Martin Roth reacquainted the world with modern electronic trance soul, as his self-proclaimed NuStyle productions & distinctive DJ Sets took over control crossing generic boundaries. “NuStyle” describes a combination of multiple influences throughout trance, Progressive, Tech & Electro – creating a fresh sound ideal for the Dancefloor & Radio / DJ Play across the barriers, with names such as Chicane, AvB & PvD or German Chart-Toppers Ich&Ich or Rosenstolz all personally requesting the MRRemix Treatment.
Record sales proved him right as his Remix for “Sensation Seekers” became #1 in 2008’s Beatport sales charts and Martin Roth was crowned alongside Eric Prydz & Deadmau5 “Star of 2008” as well as nominated more than any other Act in their ’08
awards receiving 3 nominations. No surprise with 5 different #1 selling tracks on the Portal and an incredible 16 Top 10 singles.
With his characteristic strong DJ appearances on every continent Martin Roth astonishes the crowds with his skills and unpredictable open-minded track selection giving an insight what is next on the dancefloor. His unique and distinctive style is one that’s got people talking, with events in over 25 countries a year a statement to his exploding worldwide popularity in turn helping him being en Vogue and feed him with extra inspiration as well.
This night will be something different with a mix of TECHNO and TRANCE courtasy of two of the biggest names in the scene.
We are not mucking around with this, both will be given the set times they deserve with each given THREE HOURS each.
