Not really thread-worthy, but this forum is really slow anyways and does not have a general games thread.

I kinda nostalgia'd. Lots of truth.

still remember writing down the serial # of the copy i rented of secret of mana so i could continue my save a few weeks later... and being overjoyed finding nobody deleted it :)

also remember one of the first games i rented on SNES was simcity, and the existing save file was called "ville"

dude lol, i used to rent secret of mana all the time and always overwrote the badass awesome so-close-to-finishing-the-game saves with my ty inferior "i-only-had-this-for-less-than-48-hours-and-haven't-gotten-past-level-10" save :p

does anyone remember what that game was at 5:35, right after earthworm jim? I actually remember playing it a lot when I was little but for the life of it can't remember the name of it. Pretty sure it was a playstation game.

No doubt. Found a bunch of gems back in the day with the old mom & pop rental stores.

Definitely a blast of nostalgia right there. Going to Blockbuster having no idea what to expect from what you were renting...those were the days.
