.The intellect of some of these replies. The concern for a peer in distress.
The fact your attempted resignation epica fhayled.
This is love,
with energy atmosphere consonance and rhythm, the best music (IMO) to present itself to loyal open minds.
Love hurts. Love scars. Love being quantified only by your emotions., and by your emotions fully activated, proves you have the desire to do whatever it takes to accomplish results.
Short read, you've got the love the gumption etc to do it.
Your melodies and chords are alive!
I am going on a hunt for trade secrets. Like the mau5
Dropped us a post awhile back re: recording your big synth sounds to audio then process. Them. All the pros have secrets, they may or may not be willing to discuss.
This whole post sounded like you're technically solid and musicwise also. Sounds like you have no secret weapons or finishing moves. The secrets aren't on Google, they're in the brains of wise men who are hard to first find, then approach. |

| i think you're forgetting about the fact that it's art, and not a chore. it's about showcasing what YOU feel. who cares if someone doesn't like your art? music is a personal thing |

| I' ve been at this for 12 years now. Up until about 2 years ago I sucked. I've just signed my first original track and over the past year I've had two remixes accepted. Don't quit. Getting a release isn't everything. If you enjoy the process and creativity just do it for that. I've got gigabytes worth of tunes I'd never promote because I made them for me or as experiments or because I know they are but I still love them as they got me to where I am now |

This thread kind of gives me hope. And hopefully more and more of the people cluttering up the scene with non music will end up quitting like this and making room for the real musicians to get noticed.
It's like myspace. Most have given up with it because they realise that having your own mini website is no longer the cool thing and no one else cares about anyone but themselves. Soon all these non musicians will also disappear and move onto something else to be crap at. |
