Hey this is Arcadia, and my first Trance track called Forever Again, it is sort of generic, well the bass line and stuff, but i worked hard on it and would appriciate some feedback on what everyone thinks.
I used FL Studio to create this song, but only because i am not knowledgeable enough to do full production in Ableton or Reason yet, haha.
(and no im not rippin on tiestos forever today, i just liked the title forever again, lolz)
Again, thank you for listening and i hope you enjoyed what you heard. |

Love the way the strings sound and the music ideas. Sort of BTish the way the chord progression hooks up like that.
Sort of wishing for more instrumentation by the time the kick and hats come in.
Odd placements of kick and crash, in both mix and song position, and filtered synth coming in doesn't sound in key. Check tuning on string samples/player?
Love the use of odd tuning @ 3:01-3:34.
Great ideas but it tends to get a little stale around 4:00.
Like the change-up past 5:00.
Didn't much like the revisit of the leit motif after 5:40.
The kick-and-crashes are a little on the dry side.
In short: Really good, really inventive ideas which could use a ton of finesse, progression, and development but I am still glad I listened. You definitely take some chances but I think you're headed in the right direction, taking those chances. |

thank you for your input, and i still havent mastered mixing and mastering yet, but im working on it, its practically an art, and yeah abotu the strings and the lead, i noticed that too, but i never really had time to investigate, i think it is due to one of the waves being detuned on the lead. ill re edit some of the stuff and finish mastering it and then repost it.
But yeah thank you for the support! :) |

the best advice i was given which took me years to understand is.... just write another tune...and another ...and another....in about 3-5years you will be at a stage were you are starting to sound professional. it may seem like a long time and it is if you are making music for the wrong reasons....if you are making it for the right reasons then its a flash....
