Hey all,
Really sorry about tonight, who would have thought it eh? Mother nature really threw us a curve ball here.
I can assure you no one is more disappointed than I; For reasons some of you may know, Toronto is a pretty special place for me these days :)

See the giant red button above for an answer to any and all questions regarding Andrew's performance tonight. The sole lament was that he didn't get to keep going after 1.5 hours.
Someone just give this man a 4 hour timeslot already! |

^^ I'm really curious to see him for a longer set now. He had the dancefloor solidly packed and moving but some of his set felt to me.... at times... a bit... obvious?? Now don't all jump on me for that, I mean it in the way that it was very smart and he played what he thought - and DID - get the crowd solidly moving. I just wish that he had the luxury of a 3-4 hr set to showcase what he's all about and I could really hear the range that every single TA that I spoke to tonight told me he's capable of.
And apart from that, what a very good turnout for the Fabricated crew, the place was packed and didn't slow down any til they turned on the lights at 3am. Tunes of the night for me - some beautiful hip-shaking number with a piano instrumental from Matt and then Ok Corral - Pink Shue (Jori Hulkkonen remix) as the 2nd to last tune for the night from Steve.
Great to see everyone there having such a rollicking good time! |
