Yep, Sander was on fire once again! I danced through his whole set.
Sutra as a venue is quite decent but I'm still not a fan of the OC crowd. For an edm event like last night, I thought there were too many vip tables/areas which made the dance floor and other general areas too small and packed. The sound system was ridiculously loud and my hearing would be completely shot today if I hadn't had my ear plugs on. Or maybe I should've had some alcohol to dull my senses :p

that's the OC crowd for you...alllll about status! I was actually very surprised and happy with that crowd, usually half the people are there just because, not because of the DJ. Last night was different, it was awesome. The only tables i hate are the ones right in front of the dj! they just annoy me haha. |

I think it was Francesco Diaz & Young Rebels – Damascus (Dada Life Remix) but i could be totally wrong. Dada Life played it last week and i remember saying something to my bf about it last night. |

THANK YOU!!! i asked sander on twitter twice already and he hasn't responded...now I know.
w/out a doubt i think Sutra is my favorite trance/edm club..the EAW sound design is sick, the lighting is awesome, and there is an abundance of good looking girls.
there was a period of time in his set where he was just pumping the heavy beats, it was surreal. One of my top live sets without a doubt.
can't wait to see markus next month at Sutra!! |

you're welcome! im glad i was right haha. Sutra is soooooooo much better than what it used to be, they did a really good job. I also heard from 2 different people that the owners of Sutra bought Chronic Cantina and Sutra is going to get even bigger :D but that's just what i heard....lol |

| Sounds like it was an amazing night!! I had work early this morning and wasn't able to make it last night. Pisses me off because Sander is nothing short of incredible every time he plays!!! |

Ya i heard that too from someone that works there. Dont know when thats actually gonna happen but damn that would make sutra one big ass club. Its the best club in OC imo, venue and crowd. Wish giant went there sooner, they better not move again! heh |
