I have not been active in the club scene in England, I finished Uni there and moved back to Canada.

England to me - was always the first for dance music and Electronica - such creative music...

What the happened to the scene?
What happened to the epic clubs
Why the is Sasha living in the USA
Will there ever be a club scene like the acid days or even early 90's

Why the was I born in 83

Some great clubs have closed down recently but the scene is still alive and pumping. Many big names are based in the UK and I don't think that has changed or will change.

There are many new markets out there that a lot of big names are tapping in to so they are touring around the world loads and loads I guess. :D

errr yeah man the May Superfreq was at matter on the same weekend as On & On at Fabric (to which I went to).
Did you go to the one 2 weeks ago? Was wicked but now I'm in France and I won't be able to make it for the next one:( Martin Buttrich and Andrei Osyka :whip: so so gutted.

Edit: and that you can add the Joris Voorn night next saturday, Wisternoff terrace party and the Hot Natured gig too....

I was actually thinking the same thing. I know live in the states and the scene here, at least in LA, reminds of how it was in the 90's in London. A lot of promoters, good gigs, nice clubs that make an effort.

Yes, it's different but it's still fresh here and house (in general) is just getting bigger. The hip hop clubs aren't faring so well and I think that's why a lot of the big names move here to the states. It's also a damn site cheaper to live here and the weather aint bad either!

I too get nostalgic about the club scene in the 90's and it was one of the greatest periods of my life but I kind of feel I'm getting a second bite at the cherry here in LA.
