Oh grabbing a yacht and cruising the Croatian islands is one of the best holidays you can have. As far as I know the rent is fairly cheap, petrol is decent (at least it was) and you barely pay a cent to anchor in many ports.
Poms are there though not in large quantities. What will piss you off more is all the Aussies. Italians can get quite annoying but you get used to them.
Economy has nothing to do with the $. The Kuna is locked into a value that balances it between only the major currencies so you will always get between 4 to 5 Kuna per Aus Dollar. Sucks for us but meh, I'm used to it :p
Most Croats actually don't mind Serbs and vice versa. It's the ones who don't even have any connection to back home that get into fights with one another for no sane reason.
Most Croats speak English and quite damn good English if I might add. You'll have no issues getting people to understand you.
The women are hot.
My relatives are great hehe.
Oh and there's plenty of maps ;) |

Ah, she's half Italian so she can yell at the more annoying ones fluently, I was thinking northern Italy as a place to go, but she went there for a few weeks before last Christmas with her relo's, so that's out.
What is there in the way of good resorts?
Because I just loathe boats... |

Heh well disliking boats doesn't quite go all that well with islands :stongue:
It's really not a huge resort type of country. You can get cheaper and usually better accommodation by renting apartments out. |

Yeah a few years ago I took her on a tour of England doing mostly just a rental car for transport and staying in pubs, B&B's with the odd hotel. That was a great time, but I can drive damn near anything and fly anything up to a twin engine turboprop. Boats I have no idea what I'm doing, hence, this really isn't my idea... |

Croatia has some nice vacation places. dubrovnik for sightseeing, rabac for relaxing and zrče for doing coke of some random girls .
