To be fair though, regarding the comment you quoted about speaking with club owners: He's probably right. I assumed he was referring to warm-up/opening DJs not acting as such, and playing music that was not at all suited to the time-slot they were in, nor to the DJs that were following them. He was talking about the structure of the night/party, I thought.
This has been discussed quite a bit on TA.
He could have been talking about set structure too, but that was my interpretation. |
